I spent seven years as a photo editor for a travel magazine, choosing other people’s pictures. The ones I kept coming back to were never perfect. They were a little overexposed, slightly out of focus, and completely true.
Saltframe started in 2019 with one camera, one lens and the beach at the end of my street. I still shoot most sessions between 6 and 8 in the morning, when the light is soft and the beach is empty.
I shoot digital and Super 8 film, and I edit every image myself. No presets, no assistants retouching your face.

Client words
“Four kids under eight and she still got one where everyone is looking. Framed above the couch now.”
“Planning help was the best part: tide times, a backup spot if it rained, even where to park.”
“Headshots that finally look like me on a good day, not a passport photo.”
